i realized that i haven't done much with watercolors, so i decided to paint a picture of this bottle that I've wanted to draw for a long time. :)

driving is scary

i've had my permit for two months now, but i've only driven once, and that was just around the block. so today my dad came over and was like, "hey, want to go practice driving?"

we drove around the block about six times, and though I didn't crash into anyone/anything, it was still REALLY SCARY. i was so afraid that i would press the gas instead of the brake or something and then i would crash into another car or someone's house. Q _ Q i guess that means that, until i get better at driving, it'll always be really nerve-wracking for me. strangely enough, my dad didn't seem nervous at all.

art assignment progress

This is my progress on an art assignment. It's going to take a while...

club pins!

I designed a club pin and they'll hopefully arrive in ten days, before Club Day. Below is the pin design and a mock-up of how they'll look on the club hats. :)

cute dinosaur

This is a small drawing I made into a cellphone charm for someone. It's approximately 2 inches tall in real life. I've been selling these at $4 each... kind of overpriced, so I think I'll take it down to $2.50 or so. Though that's still overpriced. The supplies for making them cost quite a bit, though, surprisingly.

flyer

This is a prototype of an AniManga meeting flyer. I plan on cleaning it up, refining the lines and maybe adding a border. When we actually use it, I'll add text to the box. Since I want to save printer ink, I'll be coloring these by hand.

THE SQUIRREL

This is the third mascot for my animanga club. His name is Mr. Tomato, and he is the epitome of awesome.

mascot designs

I drew these two mascot designs for my anime/manga club at school. I love teal and sky blue. :D Their names are currently up for debate. Someone suggested Akira and Mizuki; I kind of want Akito and Miyoko. Hm... I'm going to put up a poll on Facebook.

This is a fairly recent drawing, one that I did a few months ago, I think. I hadn't done any computer-colored artwork for a while, so I created a simple sketch, inked it, scanned it in and colored it for fun. It's not often I make such as bright piece. :)
